A good bar can easily save an evening from the crushing monotony & blatant capitalism. In the end, & actually quite close to the beginning, a big mall is still a just a mall, only bigger. But a local Irish pub has some real style & good alcohol to boot! An Absolut Black Russian to keep my Arab History company and a Tangeray Tom Collins to follow up five games of pool with one of the bartenders (2-3, him). The local flavor is a nice mix of expats with a few locals around. The stories in this bar must be quite interesting to be sure. A great place to finish off the early evening before my cab ride over to "The Fort" where the real entertainment should begin. A quick freshening up in the CR involving some splashing water and clean thoughts, a change of shirt & off we go. Not to mention the good old fashion Guinness hat I found at the mall. With enough time to kill in a mall even I sucomb to captialism.
