Nails & Knives

I guess there are always limits to the lengths one can go with cultural integration. Literally. Mine happened to be at about a quarter of an inch. Most people around here have at least their thumbnail grown out to an inch or longer past their finger. Its actually quite helpful in all kinds of situations such as opening fruit or pealing the ever present moma and so I figured I might as well try it in a place where its socially acceptable. So for the past few weeks I’ve been growing mine out but today I couldn’t take it any longer and tore it down its customary length of just at the top of my finger. I’d much rather just carry my pocket knife.
