Water Safety "Training"

Also know as Vacation to the Beach!

· 6 hour bus ride to La Union including the “short cut” road ending & having to turn around, lots of climbing all over the bus & long talks with other Vs.

· Night swimming in the ocean upon arrival! Thanks to Colin for holding my pants…

· Sleeping on a miserable mattress

· Brief Water Safety Training PowerPoint including the accidental discharge of my CO2 cartridge to fill my life vest…

· Jumping into and out of a boat to demonstrate we can. End training.

· Swimming out to the others doing the above with Peyton and back to shore

· Lots and lots of H2O horseplay

· Throwing disc in the surf

· Finding other Euchre players! (card game)

· Playing Euchre.

· Nap in my Hammock!

· 2x2 Volleyball

· 30 min run down the beach at sunset passing all the fishing boats preparing to go out for the night.

· Attempting to sleep in my hammock but driven back to the poor mattress by the mosquitoes.

· Taking off my chacos day one and never putting them back on!

· Having my abandoned chacos wander off.
